A short episode. After a recap of the rebuilt farm, I remove the industry sitting on a collector road, take out the last traffic lights and swap water pumps for water towers. Then I build a new highway connection that opens up land for Ramasaki Industry (forestry) and a second future industry area. The district is moved and extended ready for the next episodes. Prop Anarchy didn't work with the latest game version, so the trees were deleted by hand.
What happens in this episode
A quick recap first: the farm district rebuilt in Episode 22 now has crops, cattle, dairy, slaughterhouse, mills, a bakery, silos, warehouses and two train stations. It still needs some work, but traffic has improved a lot.
How it was built
Small fixes
The industries sitting on the main collector road go. They only added traffic to a road meant to move it. The last traffic lights come out. The water pumps were pumping a huge amount close to the farm, so two water towers go in instead. One would be enough, but two look better.
A new highway connection
Ramasaki Industry will sit in a large area next to a small mountain, and that needs another highway connection. I plan it at a new angle to tie into the other highway, then build it in a speed-up. Prop Anarchy wasn’t working with the latest game version, so I had to delete most of the trees manually, which isn’t fun.
Then comes lane management: every ramp gets defined lanes. One link narrows to two lanes with barriers and merges into three lanes later, so traffic sorts itself out earlier. The junction is cramped, so I may loosen it up later. Cars and trucks are already using it.
Preparing the next industries
Using the same trick as before, the Ramasaki Industry district is moved and greatly extended. The basic road layout for a second industry area is pre-built too, because I want all four industry types in Springvalley eventually. There may be oil underground, and more farming or forestry could fit. I’ll decide in the next episodes.
The intersections don’t look great, but they work. Functionality first, beauty later.

FAQ
Should industry sit on a collector road?
No. Industry on a collector road adds turning trucks to a road that's meant to move traffic. Keep industrial buildings on their own local roads.
How do you move a district to a new spot?
Paint the district onto the new area first, then shrink it from the old one. That way the district, its name and its settings move with it.
